We have never thought of dining at The Food Inn because to us, it is just another foodcourt with the usual generic food stalls, selling food with pathetic portion of ingredients and at prices above hawker price plus with the limited diet Vera could take, we would usually dine in Japanese restaurants where she could have her favourite Maki Sushi or
But with the opening of Modus , Superlife.Co vested food arm, it stood out among the rest, serving healthy Quinoa (Keen-wah) Bowls, now I would not think twice about having my meals there! It's rare to find stalls in foodcourt selling Quinoa, infact Modus is the first! Modus is opened by two fine dining chefs (Ian Phoon, 28 and Alvin Tan, 29) , armed with a combined experience of nearly 30 years in the fine dining industry, who wanted to cook tasty, nutritious foods at a value-for-money price for everyone to enjoy. They aspire to create an exquisite sensory experience through the use of precise culinary techniques in the crafting of each dish without being pretentious. They believe that every dish has their own balance, and balance is their modus operandi.
They love the versatility of quinoa, crunchiness of fermented vegetables and the health benefits that come with it. Hence, they started an organic quinoa bowl concept right at the heart of the CBD area.
Healthy food are no doubt expensive BUT at Modus, I guarantee you the bowls are value for money, generous in their serving, healthy to the body and pocket friendly!

Out of the 5 bowls, I decided to give Korean Bowl a go ! The Kimchi tasted just right for my liking without being too overwhelming in the taste and the beef slices were tender.
Her expression says it all, it's simply "Happiness in a bowl" ! We will be back for more !
