Happy HomeBodies aims to inspire families to turn their homes into a creative playspace for the children, with every installation depicting a typical home setting. Being a Stay-home mum to two young kids, Gracie has documented her home life on her Instagram handle @graciechai on how she created slides and forts using mattresses as well as rearranging furnitures around to create obstacle courses, turning her home into a fun space whenever she could. Infact, the installations were all inspired by her two adorable kids!

This attracted the attention of The Artground to take an interest in remodelling those playful moments into a lively arts play space for children. Together with @Lupwaiparentwhisperer, when we arrived and stepped foot into the space, the very first reaction we had was how cute was the installation when we first saw the washing maching with the giant fridge!
Imagine that you can slide down from the top of the washing machine, jump right into the laundry basket which was actually a trampoline (on the left side of the photo below) !
Explore the refrigerator, within was filled with doodles of jars and food as well as a wall plastered with sensorial materials to stimulate those sense of touch using common household items which could be found in our homes.
sensory bottles filled with beans hanging by the door and right beside on both front and back, was the kitchen working space.
The work station had three coloured gel pads, let the little ones go chop on it, work their muslces of their little fingers. They can press on it and watch the coloured gels push away each other.
Love how a typical routine of a day was represented by colours and graphics.
Recipes of how parents can go about doing certain activities at home were presented in forms of doodles. Go ahead and snap a picture of it as a reference to follow, try them out!
There was a also a bedroom installation that came with an enormous bed coupled with a walk-in wardrobe at the back. The bed was playfully transformed into a huge slide!
Or take a break at the balcony.
The whole installation is sure to stimulate all the senses of the little beings with the multi-sensorial esetups! A playground of a different kind, let the children run free, be curious, allow them to imagin to run and have fun! This space was set up just for the 0-3 years old to explore, with a much friendlier slide for the young toddlers. You can view the clip in this post.
And it was really thoughtful to have a baby care room made available to convenience parents in times of diaper changing. Totally awesome!
