[Review] Pineapple Tarts Singapore

This is not my first trying Pineapple Tarts Singapore, you can read about the review in 2017.

Besides the usual 'Must-order" products like:

This  year, I decided to go for the following:
I loved anything salted egg and the bite-sized tart simply melted in my mouth, the slightly sourish pineapple filling paired well with this flavor.

It will leave a mild lingering salted egg yolk taste in your mouth and will make you ask for more. This tin is almost gone by the time I was halfway writing this post. Get this in your cart!

This dough was crumbly too but somehow I felt that it was drier than the rest.

It could be becuase of the charcoal powder, I am not too sure. The pineapple filling for this was more on the sweeter note unlike the rest which were more sourish. It would be better if the truffle aroma is stronger.

This was a surprise! I am not a Mala fan at all but this tin proved to be the most addictive among all!

The fragrant of the spices was so aromatic when I removed the lid, as the dough crumbled, the spiciness kicked in and I could taste the spiciness but it did not overly numbed my tongue) which I usually do not like).

It was well balanced with the pinepple fillings wrapped within. Trust me, Mala lovers or not, give this a try! I was blown away by my first bite!

Besides the melt-in-your-mouth pineapple tarts, you can never go wrong with this shortcake filled with cranberries bits. I love the bit of citrusy taste from those tiny bits.

Other snacks to add on if you think the above may make you feel tarts overload,
Salted Egg Lotus Chips may probably make you feel healthier since its made of vegetable but the texture was not the crunchy type you think. Unless you really love lotus roots, then go for this.

and Blur Sotong Cuttle Fish Roll made a great snack while we netflix away, licking our fingers off those traces of sweet and spicy coating from the snack.

5 more days left for the early bird discount, cart in and enjoy the savings!
