Blueberries & Banana Puree

Blueberries contain a blue pigment called anthocyanin in their skin, an antioxidant that helps to protect us against cancer. Indeed, the anthocyanin gives blueberries the highest antioxidant content of any fruit.

While banana can slow-release sugars which provide sustained energy. They are also good for the treatment of diarrhoea and constipation. (Ref from Annabel Karmel)

Ingredients:
1. 40g of blueberries
2. 1 small banana

Method:
1. Put the blueberries into saucepan together with one tablespoon of water and cook for about 2mintutes or until the fruits just to start to burst open.
2. Blend into puree.
3. Mashed the small banana and mixed into the puree.

Xavier loves it to bits, it's not too sour when mixed with brown rice cereal or with apple puree. It tastes yummy !!!
