[Media Invite - Part 2] Ganbanyoku - Hot Stone Therapy

If you have read my post on Ganbanyoku - Part 1 , this is my part 2. After changing into the PJs, we made our way to the room where the elavated platform (stone bed) was.

The stone beds were made of Japan imported volcanic stone and kept heated at 45 degree celcius round the clock, daily.

The heated stones naturally release Far-Infrared (FIR) rays that penetrates to the cellular level. This causes bloood vessels to dilate, thus, improving circulaion and boosting and negative ions to speed up the release of toxins through perspiration. When you lay on the stone, your body's acupressure points will be stimulated which help to alleviate joint, muscular and nerve pain.

This seems to be great for my aching shoulders and back! More benefits on the graphic below.

Definately, I do not need to shed off any pounds but I think I need it to help my body to detox. Reason being, usually I hardly perspire, shortly after 20 mins of lying down on the stone bed, I felt beads of perspiration tickling down my body.

I thought to myself, how great it felt to be perspiring! Underneath the PJs, I felt that it was "soaked". The reply I gave to Greta when she asked me how did I feel about the whole process, I said "我流汗流到很爽" ( I perspired till I felt so shiok) . Nope, I did not smell after that one hour nor my skin was sticky. Instead, my skin felt silky smooth and overall, I felt I am lighter after sweating buckets.

This therapy is non-invasive and it is suitable from 12 years and above. Xav is still underage but I am going to bring my mum who has been experiencing aches and pain all over to give it a try. I thought why not, this may help her since she could not do any form of exercises due to her current condition. No pills, no strenous exercises, let Ganbanyoku Hot Stone Therapy do the job.

For a mummies' meet up, I thought it was a pretty good suggestion to visit together, chat and relax. The three of us, had a post exam mums' date and we had a nice 60 mins restful detox. Psssst, do you also know that Ganbanyoku Hot Stone Therapy helps with anti-aging too? Prolonged regular treatment keeps skin smooth and healthy. It also helps to maintain the proper skin cell turnover cycle.

At a really affordable price of $20 for a 60 minutes session, enjoy the benefits of Ganbanyoku Hot Stone Therapy! I have to say that you have to personally come and experience it for yourself ! Be sure to bring an extra set of undergarment just incase you are soaking in your perspiration after that hour. Just to add on, it is addvisable not to shower immediately after you are done with the therapy, be sure to shower after 2 -3 hours.
